How to Connect Huawei SCharger with the Zerofy App

Huawei SCharger connects via OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol).

Preconditions

  • Starting from app version 25.2.103.005 (released last week), the OTA process is officially supported for upgrading to the latest charger software version SPC220.
  • Make sure your charger runs FusionCharge V100R023C10SPC220 or later.
  • If your charger is on an older software version, check the OTA firmware upgrade section at the end of this page first.

Connecting Your Huawei SCharger with Zerofy

  1. Open Zerofy and add a new Huawei SCharger.
  2. Copy the OCPP link shown in Zerofy.

1. Enter installer mode

In the Huawei Fusion app, connect to the Wi-Fi of the SCharger and log in with Installer Mode.

2. Navigate to OCPP settings

In the Huawei Fusion app, open the charger settings and go to OCPP.

3. Set authentication mode

For authentication mode, choose Insecure transmission with basic authentication.

4. Fill in “Comm. Parameters”

Enter the following values:

Domain ocppconnect.net
Port 80
Path <id>
Username <id> or device serial number
Password any value

<id> is the part after / in your app link (ocppconnect.net/<id>).

Save the settings and wait for the charger to connect.

OTA Firmware Upgrade (Mobile App)

Application Scenario 2: OTA Mode on the Mobile App

1. Upgrading Software

After you log in to the owner account and an OTA upgrade policy is detected, a dialog appears indicating that an upgrade is required. Tap Upgrade and wait for the success message.

Then go to the device upgrade notification in the message center and check the upgrade status of the package.

2. Upgrading WiFi

The procedure is the same as the charger software upgrade in Section 1.

3. Verifying the Upgrade

Choose O&M > Upgrade Management. On the upgrade management screen, check the current version. The current version should match the version in the upgrade package.
