How to connect a Tibber Pulse with the Zerofy app

Availability

This integration is only available for zerofy.

Preconditions

You have a Tibber account and a Tibber Pulse (or Watty) installed on your electricity meter.
Real-time consumption is active for your home in the Tibber app. Zerofy only lists homes for which Tibber reports live measurement as enabled. If your Pulse is installed but not yet delivering live data, no meter will be offered.

Connecting your Tibber Pulse with Zerofy

Open meter setup in Zerofy and select Tibber Pulse.
Zerofy opens the Tibber login page. Sign in and confirm account access.
Back in Zerofy, select the home you want to connect.

Features and Things to Know

Once connected, you can:

Monitor live grid import and export power from your Pulse.
View grid import and export energy in 5-minute intervals.
Configure the meter as a net meter or a consumption meter.

Readings are taken every 15 minutes. Opening the app can trigger an extra reading, at most one every 10 minutes.

History starts when you connect

Tibber does not make historical Pulse data available through the interface Zerofy uses, so history is built up from live readings from the moment you connect. Two things follow from this:

Your chart will be empty at first. It takes two successful readings, roughly 15 to 30 minutes, before the first interval appears.
Data from before you connected is not backfilled.

Meter type

Main meter: Grid meter. Can be configured as bi-directional or consumption.
Production: Measures solar production. Configure as sub meter with type production.
Sub meter: Measures any type of device as a sub meter and appears in device consumption.
