How to Connect EcoFlow PowerOcean Systems with the Zerofy App

This integration is only available for zerofy and svea.

Preconditions:

  • You have an EcoFlow account (the account you use in the EcoFlow app).
  • Your PowerOcean is registered to that account and online.
  • Supported models: PowerOcean and PowerOcean Plus.

Connecting Your EcoFlow System with Zerofy

  1. Open solar/inverter setup in Zerofy and select EcoFlow.
  2. Zerofy opens the EcoFlow authorisation page. Enter your EcoFlow username and password and confirm the authorisation.
  3. Back in Zerofy, select which of the discovered devices to connect.

Supported Devices

Zerofy reads the capabilities your PowerOcean reports and creates up to three devices from a single system:

  • an inverter, when the unit reports PV/MPPT data,
  • a battery, when it reports battery data,
  • a meter, when it reports grid and load data.

Other EcoFlow products such as portable power stations, PowerStream or the Smart Home Panel appear in your EcoFlow account but are not connected — only the PowerOcean family is recognised.

Features and Things to Know

Once connected, you can:

  • Monitor live PV production, home consumption, grid power and battery state of charge.
  • Switch devices on excess solar production with Autopilot (Solar Mode).

The connection used to require re-authorisation roughly once a day. Access is now refreshed automatically in the background. If you connected EcoFlow before this change and kept being disconnected, reconnect the integration once.

Known Limitations

  • No historical data. The EcoFlow integration reads live values only, so EcoFlow devices do not fill historical charts.
  • No battery control. EcoFlow batteries cannot be charged or discharged by Autopilot.

Meter type

  • Main meter: Grid meter. Can be configured as bi-directional or consumption.
  • Production: Measures solar production. Configure as sub meter with type production.
  • Sub meter: Measures any type of device as a sub meter and appears in device consumption.
