How to Connect Electric Vehicles with the Zerofy App

Zerofy supports direct integration with a wide range of electric vehicles from various manufacturers. This allows you to monitor your EV’s charging status and optimize charging based on energy availability and costs.

  • Your electric vehicle must have internet connectivity.
  • You must have an active account with your vehicle manufacturer’s connected services.
  • Your vehicle should be linked to your manufacturer’s app.

Connecting Your Electric Vehicle

  1. Open Zerofy and navigate to device configuration.
  2. Select “Electric Vehicle” from the device categories.
  3. Choose your vehicle brand from the list.
  4. Log in with your manufacturer’s app credentials.
  5. Select your vehicle if you have multiple vehicles on your account.

Features and Things to Know

With EV integration, you can:

  • Monitor your vehicle’s current charging status and state of charge.
  • View charging history and energy consumption.
  • Start and stop charging remotely.
  • Optimize charging based on energy availability and cost with Autopilot (Solar Mode).

Connecting Your Tesla

  5. Grant Zerofy permission to access your vehicle.
