How to Connect Electric Vehicles with the Zerofy App
Zerofy supports direct integration with a wide range of electric vehicles from various manufacturers. This allows you to monitor your EV’s charging status and optimize charging based on energy availability and costs.
Supported EV Brands
The following electric vehicle brands are compatible with Zerofy:

Preconditions
For all EV brands:
- Your electric vehicle must have internet connectivity.
- You must have an active account with your vehicle manufacturer’s connected services.
- Your vehicle should be linked to your manufacturer’s app.
Connecting Your Electric Vehicle
- Open Zerofy and navigate to device configuration.
- Select “Electric Vehicle” from the device categories.
- Choose your vehicle brand from the list.
- Log in with your manufacturer’s app credentials.
- Select your vehicle if you have multiple vehicles on your account.
Features and Things to Know
With EV integration, you can:
- Monitor your vehicle’s current charging status and state of charge.
- View charging history and energy consumption.
- Start and stop charging remotely.
- Optimize charging based on energy availability and cost with Autopilot (Solar Mode).
- Use Autopilot for automatic solar and smart price optimization.

Connecting Your Tesla
- Open Zerofy and navigate to device configuration.
- Select “Electric Vehicle” and choose Tesla.
- You will be redirected to Tesla’s authentication page.
- Log in with your Tesla account credentials.
- Grant Zerofy permission to access your vehicle.

- Charging Power Control: Set charging power limits directly from Zerofy (coming soon).
- Real-time Monitoring: View live charging data and battery status.
- Smart Charging: Automatically optimize charging times based on your solar production and electricity prices.
Audi

- Log in with your myAudi account credentials.
- Select your vehicle from the list.

- e-tron Integration: Full support for all Audi e-tron models and Q4 e-tron series.
- Smart Charging: Automatically optimize charging times based on your solar production and electricity prices.
Autopilot Integration
The Autopilot can automatically optimize your EV charging based on:
- Excess solar energy availability
- Low electricity prices
- Your preferred charging schedule
This ensures your vehicle is charged efficiently while maximizing the use of renewable energy.
